When people think of double jogging strollers, one of the more common images that they would have in their minds would be those strollers that would seat two children of a similar age side by side. This is because this is the most common setup that is featured in double jogging strollers.

As such a jogging stroller that is difficult to handle might become a turnoff for some, as with the case for side by side strollers which can be difficult to control while picking up speed.

The advantage of the design of a double tandem jogging stroller is that it is more streamlined for running due to the narrow profile. You would be able to easily handle the stroller by maintaining its stability even if you are running at an increased pace.

More personal space for both your children

The most common problem that parents encounter once they use a side by side jogging stroller is that their children would usually get irritated with each other and fight. This is because the tight and constricted space that a side by side has offers very little in terms of personal space to the children in it.

This is in contrast with a double tandem jogging stroller, wherein the child would basically be free because their sibling is either behind or in front of them. They would not be too tempted to pick on their brother or sister because they are not in the periphery and would have plenty of space to work with.

OF course, there are also some disadvantages when it comes to double tandem jogging strollers. After all, there is really no perfect stroller that can solve all of your needs and give you all your wants.
