5 Stars Great jogging stroller
I purchased this stroller to train for runs and I LOVE it; the furthest I’ve ran is 8 miles and the kids did great. The stroller is light and easy to maneuver when turning corners. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old; they both love riding in it. The sets are comfortable and the stroller provides good storage for snacks and drinks. The only down side is the front wheel pulls to one side; but it’s manageable. I highly recommend this stroller for both runners and your everyday walks.
4 Stars Very Good
This jogger met all our expectations. Our 7 month and almost 3 year old girls like going in it and appear to be comfortable for the half hour rides we typically take them on. The rain cover is helpful, but won’t keep lower legs dry in a real rain. Maybe it is mostly meant to provide shade, which it does well. Seat backs adjust angle, though our kids prefer them all the way up (or higher.) The metal rod forms an arch to suspend the seat back is not covered with enough padding. Some padding is really needed at the top of the arch where hard little heads rest. We’ve just kept a couple towels folded a few times over the hard part and down the back. Like other reviewers noted, the seat belting could use a little improvement. The bottom part of the harness that the upper parts snap to is a bit wide for narrow crotches. Buckles are a bit stiff (to keep little fingers from unbuckling, i guess.) The hand brake wasn’t adjusted well when received, but I didn’t spend much time improving it, because it seems unnecessary. There is a good parking brake activated by foot. The jogger rolls smoothly and easily, and feels solid enough. It has suspension in the rear, which is a bit stiff for our light kids, but I think it helps on our very rough road, despite being quietly ‘ticky’ sounding with stiction, which you don’t notice when jogging. The kids like to go fast. So far, my long stride hasn’t come down on the foot brake while running.
Overall, I’d recommend this jogger. Don’t take the above criticisms too seriously, as I’m a pretty critical person.
4 Stars Easy to handle
I love this jogger. My son loves to go with me. However the shade on it is a little awkward in the sense that its not really adjustable. You can either place it up or down. And sometimes I need it in the middle. I did find a way to do this but I feel with the amount of money I spent, I really shouldn’t have to. It was very easy to put together. It’s heavy to lift so I can’t take it with me anywhere unless my husband goes with me. And because of the size, storage is awkward. Be warned that the wheels are not inflated when you get them, I used my olders sons bicycle pump and it worked great.
4 Stars great buy!
I purchased this jogger after I had my second child. Our first jogger was the BOB Ironman single, which we loved. The double version of the BOB is crazy expensive so after a lot of review reading, I purchased the Schwinn. It is great. I love how you can recline one baby while the other can sit upright. It pushes easily and has a neat feature of being able to move or pivot the handle bar, which is a surprisingly nice feature. The only thing I don’t like is that it folds up in a manner that is more difficult than the BOB. The BOB folded ‘forward’ like a clam shell so any thing that may be in the kids’ seat will just be folded inside and you can carry it around with the thing you pulled to fold it, it makes it handy to move around. The Schwinn folds in the opposite direction so you have to take everything out, then it is difficult to move it around in the folded position. I have a mid-size SUV and the Schwinn fits in the car great, as some other double joggers were too big. I love the clear section in the cover so you can see down on the kids.
5 Stars Excellent jogger, We love it!
We love this jogger. We have had no problems with it and have enjoyed running with our two little twins.
