5 Stars Really nice double
Was looking for a double stroller to take on vacation to the beach, to use on the boardwalk and so on. Considered the City Mini, but with the recall it was back ordered, so had to look at other models. SO glad I got this one instead. It is a bigger stroller than the City Mini, but well worth the weight!! One thing we love it that my husband is 6′3″ and it is the FIRST stroller he can comfortably push due to the adjustable handle position. I have a 4 year old & a 10 mo. old & they both seem to enjoy it. On the boardwalk everyone was actually begging to push it. Even my 68 year old mother who has arthritis. She dosent like to push it up hills, but REALLY enjoys pushing it on level surfaces. It is a pleasure to push. Were not runners, but I can imagine it would be amazing for that. Kind a takes up a lot of room in the back of my SUV, but wouldnt go shopping without it. Warning…it is heavy to load. Great storage, and seat straps are really easy to adjust too! Sun canopies are HUGE, love that! Even with the girls weight diffrences it still pushes evenly. Love the air tires, creates a nice cushion. Very worth the price. Well made, not flimsy at all. Solid.
1 Star Heavy and Doesn’t Fit
My wife convinced my that we “needed” this stroller. It turned out to be too large for the truck and just as heavy as any other stroller–we couldn’t fit groceries, and in the end the I regretted being convinced to pay the money.
4 Stars great so far!
We got this a week ago and have loved it so far…our twins seem to find it comfortable and the sun shades are great and for once our boys can actually get fully shaded in a stroller…very smooth ride too. do wish the back pockets were a bit different…just kinda awkward in design/shape (the netted pocket is so long you have to reach your arm down very far to get an item out. and the zipper pockets are so slim/tight, you can’t really fit anything wider than a credit card in them.
4 Stars We’re so happy!
At first I thought I wanted the City Mini but after reading reviews I decided on the City Classic & I am pleased. Everything +/- that I read about this poduct is what’s so. No surprises & that’s nice. It folds in two in a snap. It is good looking & a dream to stear. Circles on a dime. Goes through EVERY doorway & isle, sweet. THe kids seem comfortable & content. Great shade protection for the little ones. It is a bit heavy if you are hauling the folded stroller but as one review said, “What double worth it’s salt isn’t on the heavy side?” I walk everywhere with it. If I’d had this when the twins were new born I would never have needed another stroller. The seats go to lay down very easy & they could have napped as I walked. THe sunshades seem unsteady in the farthest cover position but that is a small matter. It doesn’t fit in the trunk of my Honda Accord by one inch but if you’ve got a little more room than that this could be your everything stroller. A dream for moms who like to walk. Excellent manueverability & a smooth ride for the babes. You won’t be sorry with this purchase. They can go from birth to 4 – save the money & just but one stroller -it seems built to last.
5 Stars I’m really not one to splurge on such a thing but it was SO worth it!
I am seriously frugal by nature but very willing to spend money on quality items that are NEEDED. In my case a double is necessary. I have a 5 month old son and a 10 month old daughter and each fit great and seem quite comfy.
The ease of folding this stroller amazes people. Took me a few days though to get the front wheels consistently in the right direction so it would fold in its flattest position to fit in my trunk. I have a Ford Taurus and it fits great, not tons of room for other things and I have to put the stroller away then pack things around it but that isn’t terrible.
I love that each side reclines independently and that I can do diaper changes now without having to locate a bathroom. I can even keep a couple diapers (cloth) for each tucked into the netting on the backside while it is folded in my trunk. Makes is easier to load and go.
This stroller handles so well I even manage grocery shopping with both babies and a cart with no problems. It can be controlled easily one handed when necessary.
