The Mountain Buggy Urban Double Jogging Stroller has been called the Cadillac of double jogging strollers. Price-wise, this seems to be true. I am not at all convinced, though, that the quality is in line with the price.
It is narrower than many or most double strollers, which is a big advantage for going through a standard doorway or maneuvering around in crowds. But the seats are also fairly narrow. This is fine as long as your kids are small, but not so good as they grow and get bigger. For the price tag, I would expect something a bit more accommodating as to size, so that I could get several years use out of it before my kids outgrew it.
There is sufficient storage, maybe a little more than average. Since there is always a lot of cargo to transport with children, especially babies, storage is a must!
The Mountain Buggy Urban Double Jogging Stroller meets or exceeds safety standards for the industry, including such features as a 5 point harness to keep your children snug and secure.
The braking system is not all that hot. It does have a foot brake, but no hand brakes. For the money, it does seem that the brakes should be top of the line. If you were going downhill with this stroller, it could get tricky.
One of the main selling points for this stroller is that it’s ridiculously easy to push! The ads say it can be pushed with one finger and I believe that is the truth, no hype.
So, if you want a user-friendly stroller that won’t wear you out if you’re going to be out all day doing a lot of walking or jogging— this one might well be worth every penny of the cost simply because it’s so easy to push.
